Por que? Why La Garra???

Todos Nos preguntan por que ese nombre. Pues hay les va. Ya saben lo que quiere decir? Ademas del obvio Garra : de un animal-Aguila, Oso, Tigre, etc.. Tambien se usa mucho especialmente en la Baja para describir algo que esta en un estado ruinosos, decaido, una piltrafa... y ademas mi esposo suele usar esa palabra para "juguetear" con sus amigos. "La Garra" y al fin y al cabo cuando vimos el edificio que teniamos que arreglar para poder abrir el restaurant bar ... pues lo primero que pensamos fue "La Garra!!" Estaba muy decaido y asi nacio el nombre de nuestro Restaurant Bar.

So everyone at one time or another has asked us why "La Garra?" So here is the real reason: Do you know what it means? Beyond the obvious Claw: eagle, bear, tiger etc... it is also used to describe something that is in decay, totally dirty and in ruins and my husband has always used the phrase to play around with his friends describing them or their things as "garras". This phrase aptly described the state of the building when we first started to think about a Restaurant Bar. So La Garra was born.
